What qpolicy is
qpolicy is the institutional add-on for policy and compliance teams, a companion to Lumen. Lumen answers a clinical question with citations back to this corpus; qpolicy extends that to a policy library — so a whole organization adopts, standardizes, and maintains its clinical policies against current evidence.
- Version control. Every policy revision is a tracked, reviewable change, not a shared drive document that silently drifts.
- Compliance tracking. Know which policies are current, which are due for review, and who owns each one.
- Evidence-alignment. Policies are mapped against governing guidelines so a change in the literature surfaces the policies it affects.
The policies in this knowledge base are written in institutional voice precisely so they can be adopted — qpolicy is the tool that does the adopting.
How it works
- Start with the policies you already have, or adopt the templates from this knowledge base.
- qpolicy brings them into a versioned library with owners, review dates, and compliance status.
- When evidence moves, you see which policies are affected and update them as tracked revisions.
Who it is for
Clinical policy owners, quality and compliance teams, and anyone responsible for keeping an institution’s policy manual current across vascular access, infection prevention, critical care, emergency medicine, and oncology.
